What does the word ‘probiotics‘ mean? It seems to be the new buzzword? Everyone seems to be talking about probiotics and gut health.
But here’s the truth… Maintaining the health of your gut is probably the number one thing you can do for your overall health – regardless of your fitness goals. While you might think your gut is in perfect shape, it may not be!
Signs and symptoms of poor gut health:
- inability to lose weight
- Digestive issues like bloating, gas or diarrhea
- always getting sick
- Sugar cravings
- Food allergies or sensitivitites
- moodiness, anxiety or depression
- skin problems like eczema
- acid reflux
Restoring your gut will help you to…

- enhance your immune system
- reduce blood pressure
- lower cholesterol
- boost mood
- improve cognitive function
- alleviate IBS
- regulate bowel movements
- prevent nagging symptoms like eczema
Kombucha, Kefir, and fermented foods like sauerkraut all are a great source of probiotic but here’s a recipe you can make at home!

2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 ground ginger
1 dash or cinnamon
